 The Resort at Pelican Hill built this more casual restaurant to overlook the resort's impressive Roman-style structure, which just happens to be home to the largest circular pool in the world. Inside, the restaurant pays homage to the pool just outside and the waters of the Pacific beyond with its turquoise accents and sandy whites and beiges. The menu, helmed by chef Marc Osier, brings contemporary American, California and Italian cuisines to breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, try the house-made granola or splurge on eggs Benedict. At lunch, you can pick from salads, sandwiches, pastas, Naples-style thin pizzas and gourmet burgers. The menu at dinner is rather short and features mostly pizzas and seafood dishes as well as burgers, lamb chops and steak frites. Guests can also choose from a special pool menu, which can be enjoyed next to the pool or inside a private second-floor cabana. Looking for a good place to bring the family for brunch on Sunday?
