Collina's Italian Cafe Restaurant Review: Quaint sidewalk seating has always been a boost to this Greenway Plaza café, especially on cool days. Collina's has a strong following that congregates for the hand-tossed pizzas, available with whole-wheat crusts and traditional toppings. But it's the signature pizzas that get more attention, including the Hawaiian, with pineapple, jalapeños and several meats. Another favorite is the calzone stuffed with four cheeses, spinach, sausage and marinara sauce. Collina's also turns out substantial sandwiches such as the Italian muffaletta on focaccia. Among the popular hand-stuffed pastas, don't miss the ravioli, served with a smooth crema rosa sauce. Such standards as rigatoni, lasagna, manicotti and a couple of notable chicken dinners are also offered. The restaurant serves wine and beer only but you can BYOB. |
