Where else but New Orleans would you find a mayonnaise bar in a burger restaurant? Just like at the original location of The Company Burger uptown, this outpost serves burgers that are so flavorful they really don't even need condiments, and buns so soft you can squish them right into the house-made pickles. Add some killer onion rings or tater tots on the side, and satisfaction is yours for the asking. The long, narrow restaurant situated in the up-and-coming South Market area near downtown features lots of flat-screens perfect for NFL game watching, soft lighting, a well-tended bar with dozens of beers, but just a half dozen wines by the glass, and big windows. Try one of six different milkshakes for dessert, but trust us, the mint chip with peppermint milk and Oreos is something to linger over.
