Rave reviews keep this place hopping with after-work drop-ins who love the stylish and serene Chinese-influenced décor. The food, however, does not always get down to business. Instead, it seems to be all about splashy fare and quick impressions. The pretty appetizer dumplings can be tender or tough, and the non-Chinese chicken satay may turn up fried, not grilled. We did like the shrimp in shells, with their sprinkling of pepper and sesame seeds---this dish was the best part of the meal. You might also have good luck with the Peking duck. You'll find an extensive menu, but mostly it's the same food you'll find at any local Chinese eatery.
