| This salt-of-the-earth Vietnamese eatery isn’t the place to take your visiting parents. The half dozen or so tables, scattered throughout the room, some pushed up against the wall making for an odd seating arrangement, are usually full and are often shared with strangers. The menu of authentically made Vietnamese cuisine might scare away the novice, but will certainly appeal to extreme foodie sensibilities. Bun bo Hue, a rich soup hailing from the central Vietnamese town of Hue, bobs with pig’s feet. Pho (the national staple) comes with varying ingredients, challenging adventurous eaters. For something more tame, try the grilled pork chop over rice or the shrimp spring rolls. |
