Cool Moon Ice Cream Restaurant Review: Cool Moon Ice Cream is ideally located across the street from Jamison Square Park. The owners showcase their deep Oregon roots with traditional family-pleasing ice cream and seasonally-inspired flavors, such as lemon poppy seed, horchata, peppermint candy cane, coconut sesame, ginger cookies and cream, and marionberry swirl. Traditionalists can always stick with variations on vanilla and chocolate. All of the ice cream is made right in the store following classic custard-based recipes: no sugar free or low-fat imitations here. Sorbets are available as a dairy-free alternative. Watching the ice cream production makes this a memorable stop, while the eclectic art and friendly servers are cherries on top of the experience. |
