Coppa's menu will please adventurous palates: pastas include calf’s brain ravioli and small plates range from beef-heart crostini to a sea urchin panino; wood-roasted lamb tongue is an entrée. However, Coppa is known mainly for its wood-fired pizza, which is too bad, as the pies can be underwhelming or amazing. White pizzas tend to be dry; ask for red sauce on the side. In general, a basic margherita pizza is the best way to go here. The restaurant only has a beer, wine and cordial license, but drinks are creative. Cocktails include an Aperol spritz (Aperol, prosecco and soda) and a refreshing Sardinian iced tea with lemon, Meletti Amaro and prosecco. For dessert, try a house-made sorbet. Service can be warm or harried depending on the crowds (they don't take reservations). On a balmy day, try for a seat on the small patio. Note that specials change daily.
