THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Copper Canyon Grill Restaurant Review:

Copper Canyon Grill dispels the myth that all chain restaurants serve cookie-cutter food. Indeed, dining here is something of an experience, since its structure and décor are designed to recall the red rocks of the American Southwest. At the dark red-stone entrance, a well shoots up a jet of flame, an unusual welcome at any restaurant. Inside, subdued chaos reigns, with crowds waiting for seating and hanging out in the bar area. Fortunately, an outdoor terrace takes the overflow for alfresco dining. Besides offering several offbeat appetizers and entrées, the menu displays an interesting though abbreviated wine list, about which your waiter will happily discourse. Wine is one thing, but here, food takes precedence. We suggest the tortilla soup, a robust dish packed with Tex-Mex flavors, and the stuffed poblano chile, a twist on Mexico's classic chile relleno. The chile is packed with shredded chicken and grilled vegetables, black beans and two different cheeses, battered and deep-fried, then served with a final swirl of chipotle sour cream as garnish. As for entrées, we recommend the fresh fish and the slab of ribs. Save room for dessert, such as the Key lime pie. Other locations.
