Appetizers include an over-the-top portion of root beer-braised short ribs and a tasty sampler of seared scallops over foie gras. If it’s available, try the bison chop or the tea-smoked duck breast, both unusual finds in the DC metro area. A side of truffled mac ‘n’ cheese will brighten your spirits, too.
