THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED Cork Restaurant Restaurant Review: Chef David Webb has taken the reins at this beautifully designed South Jersey restaurant tucked away in suburban Westmont. Opened by Kevin and Janet Meeker, Cork features an urban chic vibe in hues of burgundy and pumpkin, accented with ribbed cork and wood. The wine list is a draw, as is the draft beer selection that keeps the bar hopping. An imaginative array of small plates is a good starting point, including standouts such as tuna two ways and goat cheese spring rolls. Flatbreads arrive topped with the likes of Peking duck and vegetarian chorizo. Don’t miss the yellowfin tartare, pearls of tuna accented with ginger, soy and a frizzle of fried shallots. We also suggest the braised short ribs with jalapeño cheddar grits and a spicy aïoli-accented tempura calamari. Expect Webb to add his own mark to his predecessor's Asian influences.
