Think Dean & Deluca meets Subway. Inspired by Così Così in Paris' bookish and boutique-y 7th arrondissement, Così's concept is unbeatable: mix and match one, two or three ingredients for a stuffed sandwich made with Italian flatbread (Pizza Romana), freshly baked in a wood-burning forno. Choices range from West Indian curried chicken to roasted portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions and fresh basil. Ask for a dollop or two (portions are huge) of sun-dried tomato, crème fraîche, spinach-artichoke or cucumber tzatziki spread. Così begins serving up mochaccinos and muffins starting at 7 a.m.
