The Cove Restaurant Review:

Do many cities have a one-stop car wash, laundromat, bar (with kiddie playlot), dog run, and burger emporium all rolled into one? We thought not. At The Cove, the diner has the choice of eating in most of the above. And eclectic doesn't even begin to describe the menu, swinging as it does from its SOL (Sustainable Organic Local) lamb burgers with Latin spices and the brown rice patty with tofu “bacon” to a grilled portobello cap with jack cheese and poblano sauce. Sophisticated salads such as the warm beet with goat cheese are ultra-uptown for such a lowdown location. And though we aren’t bowled over by the “Blue Bison” burger, we would go back for the grilled tilapia tacos. And maybe to get the car washed. Bands draw fans to the beer garden nightly, and the beer selection counts over 50 taps, but the organic-sustainable wine list is the real surprise, perhaps inspired by the wine tasting held every third Thursday.
