THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Craft + Community Bar and Grill Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Craft + Community Bar and Grill is a 6,000-square-foot gastropub situated near Hard Rock’s casino floor. The dining room is outfitted with ornamental iron chandeliers (some with hanging green beads) and Edison lights dangling from an industrial ceiling, dark hardwood floors and garage-style doors that roll up to expose the patio looking out onto the resort’s pool.

Likes: Prices are less than what you’ll find just down the street on the Strip, with most in the $5-$19 range and with generous portions that provide plenty enough to share.
Dislikes: Seating in the bar area can be boisterous and the community tables have stools with no backs, but seating in the upholstered half booths are located away from the din and are quite comfortable.

Food & Drinks: Begin with Pretzels & Cheese, a top seller – soft pretzel twists with havarti/provolone/Vermont cheddar fondue. Seafood options range from ahi tuna tartare with avocado, cashews, spicy mayo and ponzu to roasted salmon with mascarpone risotto; king crab served over ice with two dipping sauces; oysters; and white shrimp. Entrées worth saving your appetite for include the Southern fried chicken with a delicious thick breading and hanger steak complemented by red wine bordelaise and truffle herb fries. The winner among the desserts is the Craft Box, which is an assortment of treats with something for everyone: Guinness cupcakes, s’mores bars, brown butter chocolate chip cookies, peanut brittle and caramel pretzel popcorn. Libations include cocktails such as The Safari with Cruzan, Aperol, Pasoa Passionfruit and pineapple; and craft beers of which nearly half are Vegas-born, with the likes of Able Baker Atomic Duck IPA, CraftHaus Evocation Saison, Joseph James American Lager and Tenaya Creek Local 702 Pale. Wine is also available.
