Crave Restaurant Review

: This sunny, spacious property at the junction of Polk and Vallejo has morphed often in recent years, from coffee shop to tea parlor and now into a sandwich and salad plate joint. The interior (with counter service) is sleek and spare, with smooth wooden tables and chairs. There are a handful of prized tables out front for catching occasional rays. Though the coffee is good and plates seem promising---gourmet macaroni and cheese, barbecued pulled-pork sandwiches---we found the service slow and the results on the plate uninspired and, in some cases, overpriced.
