THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crave Shack Restaurant Review:

This burger place stands out for a couple reasons. For starters, it’s smack in the center of Astoria’s Muslim enclave, set on a block with a mosque and Egyptian and Moroccan restaurants and cafés. The other reason is because it offers the Crave Doughnut Burger. That’s right---one beef patty, one slice of cheddar and two strips of turkey bacon all sandwiched between two halves of a glazed doughnut. And this high-calorie burger is actually good, a nice blend of savory, sweet and smokiness. For less adventurous eaters, the “normal” burger, or the huge one-pound version of it, will certainly satisfy as well. Starters, or “Happytizers,” include onion rings and chicken nuggets; shakes range from the Chocolate Dream to vanilla and strawberry.
