THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Creperie of Bourbon House Restaurant Review:
HURRICANE KATRINA: this establishment is currently closed. For a New Orleans Travel Update as well as resources, information and help click here. A walk-up window huddled into the side of Bourbon House restaurant, this sidewalk crêperie introduces a little Paris into the seedier end of Bourbon Street. The crêperie's ambitions are triumphantly realistic---one employee sizzles a handful of different crêpes to-order, spreading the batter over a circular griddle with a wooden rake; otherwise, a couple of house-made ice creams, the restaurant's famous frozen bourbon milk punch, and draft beer finalize the offerings. We've been particularly happy with the floppy but high-quality ham and Gruyère crêpes, and the Louisiana strawberry gelato.
