Crescent Pie & Sausage Company Restaurant Review: If you plan to dine at Crescent Pie & Sausage Company, hopefully you are a meat lover. From the house-made sausages to the meat-topped pizzas, to the meat entrées and nicely portioned sandwiches, this eatery turns out meat-centric comfort food to the max. Unfortunately, the concept and the menu’s descriptions may not live up to the final product. Pizzas are overly cheesy and anything but crispy; sandwiches are decent, but not exciting. Sausages are hit and miss. Some of the best-sounding dishes arrive greasy. However, the "redneck brisket" barbecued with pepper aïoli is a hit, as is the house mac ‘n’ cheese. Still, although the building and the interior are quite homey and comfortable, the cooking would not make you hurry back. |
