Complete with a British flag, this locals' favorite is welcoming, casual in the extreme and a cozy niche away from the glitter and lights. A large fisherman's net hanging from the ceiling and glassed-in antique yacht replicas carry out the nautical theme. Relaxing and kid-friendly until about 8 p.m., the eatery is quite spirited after dark. Die-hard rugby and soccer fans can often be found here, as the venue broadcasts premier soccer league matches live (so yes, you can watch a match at 6:45 a.m.).

About the food and drinks: Served in hearty portions, the fare features traditional favorites such as English fish ‘n’ chips --- a half-pound of beer-battered Icelandic cod with fries and peas.
