Great Wine List* Click here for rating key
Cru has a double meaning, denoting the restaurant's raw seafood offerings and also the establishment's commitment to wine, with a 150,000-plus-bottle inventory. The wine list, built by one of the owners, contains vintages not often found in restaurants because they were only sold to private collectors. First courses may include crispy sweetbreads with sweet corn, angelica seeds and chanterelles while main courses could range from ocean trout with tangerine, espelette and charred chicory to a rabbit roulade to Pekin duck with toffee glaze, turnip sabayon and burnt pear. Desserts might include a Valrhona chocolate tasting---chocolate raisin cake, dark chocolate croquette, stracciatella ice cream and passion fruit coulis. |
