Cullen's Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: The gracious bar-Irish pub (which is always packed, largely with a Cubs-loving crowd) is the centerpiece for this lively establishment. The food --- meatloaf, fish ‘n’ chips, potpie, shepherd’s pie, chili and more --- is better than one might expect from a bar. Don't miss the mac ‘n’ cheese either. You’ll also find a few surprises, namely beer-battered fish tacos and hummus. An appendage of the Mercury Theater (Michael Cullen owns and operates the restaurant and the theater), it's the place to go before a show. |
