These cupcakes compare rather favorably to some of its higher-profile competitors, and are attractively presented and securely packaged. The Lady in Red (red velvet), Fleur de Caramel (devil’s food cake with salted caramel filling), and 24 Karat Ginger (carrot cake with crystallized ginger, topped with lemon cream cheese frosting and gold leaf) are just a few of the two dozen imaginative, often-frilly varieties. The mini-cupcakes make great snacks, and even more guilt-free are vegan or sugar-free versions. You can also score a good cup of latte here, and enjoy it at a table.
