THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Cyrano's Bistrot & Wine Bar Restaurant Review:
Cyrano's rode in on the wave of bistros-brasseries that swept ashore in Chicago in the mid-1990s, and it's still doing fine. Owner-chef Didier Durand understands the bistro genre quite well, having toiled in many over the years. Score points for the rotisserie chicken, duck confit, steak frites and other classics like cassoulet and coq au vin. Desserts are tried and true, too, so look for the likes of apple and lemon tarts. The service is pleasing overall, but we think a more lighthearted approach is in order. Visit the chill wine bar across from the dining room, and check out the bar menu of salads and appetizers or order from the full menu and enjoy it there.
