D Bar San Diego Restaurant Review: "Drinks, Dining and Desserts" is the self-proclaimed focus at D Bar San Diego. Guests can take a seat in the open dining room or indulge at the dessert bar. Start with bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with almonds and mangecho or "When Pigs Fly!" which are crispy smoked pork drumsticks served with a miso sesame barbecue sauce and veggies. Entrées range from a pizza salad sandwich to lobster risotto to a pork porterhouse served with potato salad, rainbow chard and a cherry barbecue sauce. Save room for the chocolate lava cake for dessert. A variety of beers, wines and cocktails are available.
