THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Daily Grill Restaurant Review:
The all-American chophouse is reborn as a crisp, white-tiled, professionally presented all-day dining chain by upscale restaurant entrepreneur Bob Spivak and his Grill Concepts team. White linen on the tables and a dark wood aesthetic add to Daily Grill’s upscale atmosphere. Classic starters include a jumbo crab cake seasoned with Old Bay, large shrimp cocktail, and chopped wedge salad. There are a bevy of steaks and chops cooked on the grill, as well as chicken potpie, meatloaf accompanied by red-skin mashed potatoes, and fish ‘n’ chips. Lighter fare is represented in choices like grilled salmon with asparagus and chicken Marsala. For dessert, diners should go straight to the brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. A small wine list is mostly made up of California producers.
