Daily Grill Restaurant Review: There are few surprises at this competent but middle-of-the-road downtown hotel restaurant. Breakfast offers the typical pancakes, french toast and omelets; lunch features burgers, sandwiches, salads, steak and fish; and dinner more of the same, including standards such as New York pepper steak, pan-fried Idaho trout, and oven-roasted garlic chicken. The Daily Grill provides amply for those with special dietary needs, offering gluten-free options and a "simply 600" low-calorie menu. The real scene here is the bar, where weary traveling salespeople and spunky local singles mingle over happy hour martinis. Those in the know (and without an expense account) make a meal out of the affordable bar menu. |
