Daily Grill Restaurant Review: Business travelers and tourists will find something they enjoy eating at this competent, but middle of the road downtown hotel restaurant. The Daily Grill also provides generously for diners with special dietary needs, offering gluten-free options and a "simply 600" low-calorie menu. Altogether, there are few surprises here. Breakfast offers the typical menu of pancakes, french toast and omelets, while lunch features burgers, sandwiches, salads, steak and fish, and dinner more of the same, including standards such as New York pepper steak, pan-fried Idaho trout and oven-roasted garlic chicken. The real scene is the bar, where weary traveling salespersons and spunky local singles mingle over happy hour martinis and cocktails made with fresh-squeezed juices. Those in the know (and without an expense account) find it easy to make a meal out of the affordable bar menu.
