 In the lobby of a busy hotel, the Daily Grill also sits in the heart of bustling Georgetown, where twenty- and thirty-somethings stroll by at all hours, dropping in to cozy up to the bar for a liquid break or to snatch a table for eating at a leisurely pace. Like its sister restaurants, this Daily Grill has its own spin on American cooking, but adds such from-abroad dishes as fish ‘n’ chips, angel hair pasta pomodoro, and a trio of hummus. But if you yearn for an American classic, order the cheeseburger with fries. For a dessert zinger, consider the New York-style cheesecake or tuck into its fruit cobbler of the day.
