Dalessandro's Restaurant Review: Dalessandro's rib-eye cheesesteaks are some of the best around, fightin' words in these parts, but still a safe proclamation. The eatery’s location in Roxborough draws long lines of locals, but the suburbanites come here as well, and for good reason. The sandwich meat is hand-cut, assembled to order and well priced. The cost for extras like lettuce and tomato will transport you to a bygone era. On a diet? Try the "light" choice: white meat chicken steak. The interior is on the fluorescent-light side, but you didn't come for the atmosphere. |
