| Danny Ng’s Place on the Bowery and just off Canal Street manages to distinguish itself as one of the top, not to mention, longest running Cantonese restaurants in Chinatown. The roasted chicken with preserved vegetables presents a fine balance of crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, while the baked Chilean sea bass is topped with sautéed ground meat and, again, preserved vegetables. Locals and those in the know comprise the crowd around dinnertime. Not to worry though: the seating, like the service, manages to come promptly. |
