THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED David's Grille Restaurant Review: David’s Grille brings a sophisticated atmosphere (thanks to a trendy yet understated contemporary décor) and a distinctive menu to the quaint suburb of Orchard Park. Start with the pan-fried lobster and crab cakes with rémoulade and a sweet chili sauce or the petite lamb chops with potato pancakes drizzled with a mint oil and rosemary demi-glace. The walnut- and almond-crusted goat cheese salad (with garden greens, yellow and red tomatoes, and dried apricots tossed in an apricot-mango vinaigrette) is a must. For the main course try sesame-crusted ahi with somen noodles, vegetable stir-fry, pickled ginger, and a wasabi and soy sauce; or the pan-seared prosciutto-wrapped salmon with rock shrimp, tomato concassé, baby spinach, kalamata olives, fresh mozzarella and capellini pasta tossed in a basil-pesto scampi sauce. Additional options include grilled pork with smoked pepper and mascarpone polenta, herb-crusted New Zealand rack of lamb with wild mushroom risotto, and a filet of beef crusted with Maytag blue cheese and served with white truffle-potato gratin.
