Davio's Restaurant Review: This regional Italian steakhouse, located in the former Paine Furniture Building in Park Square, serves up Italian cuisine “with a focus on the grill.” You’ll find staples like the Bolognese made with braised beef, veal and pork and chophouse selections from a 12-ounce Kobe sirloin to an 18-ounce porterhouse veal chop. Specialty items include untraditional dishes like the broiled oysters stuffed with garlic and mushrooms. The restaurant houses its own bakery and pizza bar, an enormous bar area that is always overflowing with an after-work crowd, and a large, ornate dining room complete with sky-high ceilings, columns and hardwood floors. |
