| This beautifully restored Art Deco space in the lobby of the Tower Building was formerly a bank. Soaring ceilings, a bustling bar scene and the seafood dishes---inspired by the West Coast, Gulf Coast and Chesapeake Bay---make owner-chef Jeff Tunks’ DC Coast a downtown hot-spot. With chef de cuisine Brendan Cox in the kitchen, appetizers include iced Blue Point oysters and an Angus steak salad while entrées range from mushroom-crusted Pacific halibut to double-cut pork chops with sweet potato purée. The chocolate banana ice cream sandwich will end the meal on a sweet note. |
