Soaring ceilings, a bustling bar scene and the seafood dishes---inspired by the West Coast, Gulf Coast and Chesapeake Bay---make owner-chef Jeff Tunks’ DC Coast a downtown hot-spot. Dishes to look for include crispy fried Gulf oysters, Carolina mountain trout, soft-shell crab BLT, and for a grand entrée, the Chinese-style smoked lobster. Don't overeat or you will miss such sweet treats as the caramel-chocolate chip bread pudding. |
