Del Ray Café Restaurant Review

: Opened and run by the owners of the nearby upscale Old Town restaurant La Bergerie, this straightforward and delightfully casual eatery with upstairs and downstairs seating resembles a comfortable home; after all, it is set in a house on a residential street. Service is friendly and accommodating, and the menu is inspired by French bistro fare. Showcasing local and seasonal products, offerings will shift with the seasons and maybe even weekly, but you may hope that the French onion soup, the Burgundy snails, and one of the lamb dishes are available. Among desserts are crêpes and an apple tart Tatin. Beverages include juices, soft drinks, cocktails, and a diverse beer and wine selection. Brunch fare ranges from croissants to egg dishes, pancakes, french toast, and the appetizer snails in garlic butter. Everything is made with care and expertise, reflected in the fact that you should make reservations, and don’t come late.
