Delancey, Los Angeles, CA

Delancey Restaurant Review

: Delancey features a selection of thin-crust pizzas with New York-inspired names such as the Bleecker, topped with leeks, bacon and Parmesan; and the La Guardia, made with mozzarella, truffle, sage and pancetta. Interesting bruschetta (e.g. prosciutto, dates, goat cheese and balsamic) and some creative house-made pasta dishes (gnocchi with wild boar; cavatelli with lamb ragoƻt) also appear on the well-priced menu. With its arched brick walls, tin stamped ceiling with vintage lighting, and prominent bar, this hip but generally unpretentious place has an appealing East Coast vibe. Everyone from tourists to struggling screenwriters to celebs seem to appreciate this slice of the Big Apple. To drink, find 20 craft beers on tap, reasonably priced wines and a full bar.
