Open fireplaces, hand-painted tiles and artisan handicrafts set the stage for the Southwestern-themed restaurant. Located at the upscale Redmond Town Center, it attracts moviegoers and shoppers. Soft breadsticks in pottery vases grace each table, while the menu ranges from Tex Mex favorites to south-of-the-border staples. Heat levels ranging from mild to moderate accommodate the mainstream palate. Menu favorites include blackened chicken pasta, chile rubbed sirloin and a Southwest chicken sandwich. Smoked pecan salmon, Baja shrimp tacos and grilled tuna are among gluten-free possibilities. For a sweet finish, warm apple crisp is topped with vanilla ice cream, or perhaps try the strawberry short cake given a Spanish twist.
