Catering to business travelers staying at the hotel as well as destination diners, this friendly spot serves three meals daily with homey flair. The menu keeps with a comfort food theme but ups the ante, ambition-wise (think wild boar sausage with crispy polenta and mango chutney). Pristinely fresh, summery oil-splashed yellowfin sashimi is accented with serrano, sesame and cilantro, while spice-rubbed Prime tenderloin pairs with golden beet vinaigrette and Brussels sprouts-horseradish salad. Grilled panzanella with frisée, ricotta salata and charred scallions gets doused with potent-in-a-good-way, grainy mustard vinaigrette. We also recommend veering toward the Black Angus meatloaf, if only for the garlicky, wilted spinach and roasted tomato glaze that comes with it. And, whatever you do, don’t pass on the moist, individual red velvet cake (you’ll cherish the leftovers).
