Some of the most coveted tables are next to the panoramic windows in this restaurant high atop Disney's Contemporary Resort, where you get a bird's-eye view of the famous Magic Kingdom fireworks---and they even dim the lights and pipe in the accompanying music. But there's a pretty amazing show in the open kitchen, too, where chef Brian Piasecki creates his dishes. The dining room on the hotel's 15th floor is Disney's most popular, and it's worth the wait for Piasecki’s simple, sophisticated cooking. Start with one of the brick oven-baked flatbreads, pristine sushi or Sonoma goat cheese ravioli. A longtime favorite is the grilled pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta, mushrooms and Zinfandel glaze. The menu matches the seasons, though you'll always find terrific fish creations as well as an oak-fired beef filet. If you're not counting calories, end with a selection of cheeses (they change frequently) or the warm Valrhona chocolate cake. Wines, too, are an impressive array of California's finest, and this is the only restaurant we know where every single vintage is available by the glass.
