About the restaurant: One of a small group of snappy all-American eateries in the metro area, this Fairfax location has a welcoming attitude and a very casual air.
Food & Drinks: As this is an alehouse, beers and ales are definitely on tap, including seasonal flavors. The extensive menu ranges from Alehouse chili spooned over crispy nachos to an Alfredo Cajun pizza, and assorted burgers and hefty sandwiches. Main dishes include crab cakes, Alehouse ribs, jambalaya, and mahi mahi tacos. A tempting selection of desserts includes Riley’s bread pudding with chocolate drizzle, the Dogfish brownie sundae, and apple crisp layered by toasted oats and brown sugar crumbles. This restaurant is also a big go-to spot for live music on many Saturday nights.
