THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Dogwood Deli Restaurant Review: THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS When Galen Sampson was head chef at Hampton's, Baltimore's poshest restaurant, his cuisine was nothing if not ambitious. Nowadays, his ambitions have moved beyond the epicurean: with his wife Bridget he has founded Sampsons' Dogwood Sustainable Foods. The couple's first restaurant venture is Dogwood Deli, a fetching carry-out and juice bar offering sandwiches, salads, soups and smoothies made from seasonal, locally-farmed ingredients. The sandwiches, while remarkably inexpensive, are first-rate, with top-notch fillings and gourmet grace notes: the tomato-apricot chutney and thyme-grilled onion on a roast beef sandwich, for instance, or the chicken salad's lightly curried vegetable and mango-yogurt dressing.
