THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Don Ho's Island Grill Restaurant Review:
Even after the passing of Don Ho, one of Hawaii’s best known residents, the restaurant bearing his name is still going full force. Located at the harbor’s edge at one of the best spots in the Aloha Tower Marketplace, this restaurant still books live local entertainment and offers up a genuine island experience. The lunch menu includes local favorites like a kalua pork sandwich and a blue water Pacific ahi sandwich. Dinner entrées range from grilled macadamia nut-crusted lamb chops to grilled fish of the day topped with a ginger-miso vinaigrette. Book early for July 4th; that’s when the restaurant is front row center for the annual fireworks show.
