As you might expect from its location in the heart of dot-com turf, the Canton branch of Donna’s Café is populated by young, chic twenty-somethings fortifying themselves with coffee, espresso and big pots of designer tea, or fueling up for the next big push on the café’s signature Mediterranean fare. Donna’s take on the genre is usually as fresh as the crowd; you’ll find heaping roasted vegetable salads, pizzazz-y individual pizzas and Sicilian penne with sausage and eggplant. Summer brings an outdoor grill that perfumes the air with the delicious fragrance of foods cooked over an open fire.
