Donovan's Steak & Chop House Restaurant Review

: Donovan's is quite popular with the business set, perhaps because it feels like an old-time private club. This elite atmosphere is extended by the efficient, well-trained staff and high-caliber ingredients. Steak aficionados will appreciate that all beef is USDA Prime and aged a minimum of 21 days. The choices run the gamut from a petit filet mignon to the 24-ounce rib-eye chop. The seafood options are scant (lobster, shrimp scampi, salmon) but the salads and sides are more adventurous. We like the asparagus and the beefsteak tomato salads as well as the skillet-fried potatoes with onions and peppercorn gravy. Desserts are traditional (brownies, crème brûlée, cheesecake) but done well.
