THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Du Jour's Restaurant Review

: Du Jour's is life giving. Just ask any of the many people who wait in line on the weekends at either the Downtown or Golden Valley location. Their day can't possibly start without the life-force feeding food inside these bright and sunny restaurants. Du Jour's have set themselves apart from other breakfast joints by the sheer fact that they understand the fragility of someone who hasn't has their coffee. Water is brought to the table in an ice-cold carafe, and left there. Coffee comes quickly in a large carafe, and is left for you to nurse at your leisure. The menu offers something for the bacon lovers and something for the eqq-white aficionados. They love you all. Try a skillet meal like the Wanderer with bacon, tomatoes, onions and potatoes lovingly smothered under two eggs. Or go for the blueberry oatmeal pancakes that fall over the edge of the plate. Whatever you do, try to go early and bring a paper, because you will have to wait.
