 The Duck Club Restaurant Restaurant Review: The décor is a cross between a formal dining room in an Alpine hotel and a Louis XIV-era drawing room. A row of wall sconces provide gentle illumination and the tables are laid with damask and crystal. It seems only appropriate to dine on such dishes as grilled prosciutto-wrapped figs and filet mignon in a rich demi-glace. A five-course tasting menu is available with or without wine pairings. It’s worth noting that, although dinner is a lovely experience, Sunday brunch is what really put this place on the map, both in the East Bay and across the bridge. |
