| The renovated Indiana Oxygen Company, on the National Register of Historic Places, is now Dunaway's Palazzo Ossigeno, a most attractive restaurant with an eclectic menu. Although "palazzo ossigeno" loosely translates as “oxygen building” in Italian, the dishes lean American and emphasize seafood and steaks. Each room of the elegant space has a different feel, though all sport paneled walls or a marble fireplace; each is inviting, stately and downright romantic, even if you’re only in the mood for a hamburger, crab cake or beef carpaccio. Addictive desserts, including gelato and sorbet, are prepared in-house. Tuesday through Saturday provides limo service for those staying (or residing) downtown. |
