Dundee's Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: This inexpensive home-style bar and restaurant is a stone's throw from Montreal's club scene. Club-goers and the elite find it nestled on the corner of de Maisonneuve, with its unexpectedly good steaks, burgers and pizzas --- generously portioned meals for very reasonable prices (expect to spend about $20 per person). The juicy Dundee’s Burger is the house's signature dish, the beef patty topped with strips of crispy bacon, grilled mushrooms and caramelized onions; it comes with fries and a salad on the side. Waiters are friendly and chatty; the ambience is warm and comforting; and in the summer months the restaurant opens a 90-person-capacity terrace area. |
