Eataly Restaurant Review:

Eataly, the massive Italian market and food court, started as the brainchild of Oscar Farinetti, who opened the inaugural store in Torino, Italy, in 2007. The first U.S. branch landed in New York in 2010, followed by outlets in Chicago, a second NYC location and Boston. Among the venues are La Scuola (cooking school), Caffè Lavazza (coffee and house-made pastries) and counters for Roman-style pizza by the slice, panini, rotisserie-roasted chickens, gelato, Sicilian cannoli and bomboloni. There are also several full-service restaurants, including Manzo, La Pizza & La Pasta, Il Pesce and SERRA by Birreria on the rooftop. Guests can also shop for produce, mozzarella, olive oil, vinegar, house wares, fresh pasta, wine and more.
