One of the more interesting and creative restaurants in the northwest suburbs located in an old schoolhouse dating back to 1883. If you are looking for something cutting-edge, Eclectic Restaurant is the place to be. Culinary diversity abounds with dishes that pull from various styles of cuisine: Asian, Italian, Korean, and both regional and contemporary American. Service is efficient and informed. Young adults should enjoy the experience. Excellent selection of wines by the glass. Despite its aggressive approach to melding, mixing and blending flavors and a variety of foods from, well, eclectic (and ethnic) sources, there is a lot of sense and sensibility going on here. Chef-owner Patrick Cassata has a deft touch and understanding of what works with what, and the result of that makes for an interesting and enjoyable dining experience.
