THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Edge Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review:
You can leave your cowboy hat at the door at The Edge, easily the hippest place in Old Town Temecula. One side is a rather sophisticated, elegantly appointed dining room, the other, a lounge with water features, plush seating and seductive lighting. The deconstructivism and global influences found in the cuisine on the restaurant's opening menu have been replaced with more traditional American and continental-style dishes, like steak Diane and lobster and shrimp Thermidor. Lunch is now streamlined as well, with straightforward offerings like a Caesar salad and a prime rib melt. A well conceived wine list gives the requisite nod to local producers but draws from other appellations, too. Note that loud music from the lounge wafts into the dining room, so plan your visit accordingly.
