El Pirata Restaurant Review:

All black and white, with wooden floors, closely packed tables and formally clad waiters, it's easy to see why this Spanish outpost in posh Mayfair is such a success. The food is good, honest stuff, running from tapas favourites like Spanish rice with chicken, octopus and peppers stuffed with Russian salad, to more robust dishes like roast suckling pig with pobre potatoes or a generous seafood casserole. Service is cheerful, brisk and very efficient; the bar is always full of people waiting to be served or just enjoying a drink, and it's a place where chefs from nearby restaurants unwind at the end of the evening.
