Don’t be surprised if you’re the 40th person in line---and don’t give up and leave. The chicken here is worth the wait, and the line moves fast. You’ll have just enough time to marvel at the enormous rotisserie grills filled with chickens, sacks of charcoal for cooking and mounds of potatoes ready for the fryer. The service is like a chicken conveyor belt, with kitchen staff roasting, chopping, and filling plates as fast as they can. The menu offers chicken halved, quartered, or whole, so your choices are simple: What size and which drinks? You can eat in or take away, but the sizzle and aromas are so overpowering you’ll probably decide to grab a table and feast. It’s no-frills eating with a decided Latino beat.
